When reworking pre-existing clothing, many times is very hard to make a stylish new look keeping in mind we work with different materials, colours and prints.

If you are not careful the added pieces might end up too ‘patchy’, looking like an obvious unpleasant addition instead of creating a harmonious new look.
Therefore, we need to use anything (colour, print, design element etc.) that could link and ‘join’ the reused materials.
In this case the joining link is the tiny little polka dot print, as well as the pale pink colour.
