In September 2021, Rollins’ Sustainability program and Social Impact Hub hosted waste audits to sort through and analyze campus waste. The findings from the waste audits will allow the College to make thoughtful decisions on how to become a zero-waste campus.
Student volunteers also participated in a design-thinking session to innovate solutions about campus waste. Rollins encourages everyone on campus to practice composting as a way to help become more sustainable. Composting is incredibly beneficial, and by sorting waste into the correct bins, the Rollins community can help make our planet brighter.
