Propofol slows down the activity of your brain and nervous system. It is used to put you and keep you asleep during general anesthesia for surgeries and medical procedures and is more environmentally friendly than other anesthetics. During the COVID pandemic, Propofol was heavily used to sedate a patient who was under critical care and needed a mechanical ventilator (breathing machine).
We are operating globally and have production sites all over the world. One of them is the site in Vionnaz, located in the canton of Valais in the southern part of Switzerland (right between Geneva and the famous Matterhorn).
