“Textile artist Claudy Jongstra discusses her use of raw materials such as wool and silk to monumentalize the hidden beauties of nature. Based in the Netherlands, Jongstra explains how she engaged with native Bay Area materials to create Aarde (2016), her mural at SFMOMA.
