This dresser was falling apart when I picked it up. The side panel popped off when we removed it from the car, and we discovered it was nailed on. This was only the beginning. There were so many nails and damage to the finish and wood. So many repairs were needed. At first I thought, I don’t even know if I can do all of these fixes – especially the leg, but if there is a will there is a way. Did I mention there’s woven rattan on the drawers?

Original Poem in the Intro:
This dresser was neglected
Used up and rejected
Another furniture flipper gave up
Said time, well they didn’t have enough.
Nails all around
The feet separating from it now
Deep gouges on the sides and the top
Even the trim piece has taken alot.
Working through the problems, excited and ready
Don’t worry, I didn’t use a machete
Can I even save this defeated dresser?
Alright, here we go. No pressure…
