SALVATION ARMY THRIFT FLIP | DIY shirt upcycling tutorial
Hey guys!
In this step-by-step thrift flip tutorial, check out how I turned this ugly old Salvation Army top into a cute new top for the summer. Best part about this upcycling project is that it’s super easy to make, plus it’s multi-functional and can be worn on or off-the-shoulder.
Like I mentioned, here’s my website where you can find lots more tutorials, sewing tips and information about sustainable fashion: https://travelherstyle.com/

Hey! I’m Emily Stuebing, a fashion designer and entrepreneur from both the U.S. and Germany. I’m all about sustainable fashion, which is why I love to upcycle, sew using recycled fabrics and share information about what we can do to counteract the negative impacts of fast fashion. Since I work from my computer, I spend most of the year traveling in my designs. While abroad, I also meet with designers/experts of traditional clothing from their culture and interview them. Now I want to use that background to teach others to sew and to bring us all a little closer through clothing.
