Freezing Vegetables – How to Freeze Vegetables and Herbs

By letter2self on March 31, 2023

Today I’ll show you how I store vegetables.
Vegetables, as we know, do not last long even in the refrigerator.
It is very convenient to take them out of the freezer during cooking and put them right away in a pan or frying pan.
Fast, easy and vegetables are stored for a long time.
Over the years it has become my habit to cut and freeze vegetables.
I also freeze ready-to-eat chops, meatballs, cabbage rolls and much more frozen.

I propose my preference, how to freeze vegetables.

1. Wash the peppers, peel the stems and seeds and cut into strips. Put portions in bags (I use bags with Ikea)
2. Rinse green onions under running water, remove root portion and chop randomly. Place in packages.
3. Wash the carrots, peel them and cut them into strips. Place in packages.
4. Rinse, cut and bag the greens.
5. Place all packages in the freezer.
Have a nice evening and enjoy.
