Free is not free. Especially if the furniture piece just shows up at your door. Question its origins and investigate!!! Don’t just look at it for face value. Sometimes there’s hidden meanings behind the gesture. Either way, the next time I’m going to think a lot harder on whether I want to tackle something that was free.
