Welcome to my latest sewing project. A vintage style dress from the 1950s. Sewing this dress was three years in the making. The vintage reproduction sewing pattern I used to sew this dress was the first sewing video I watched and made me fall in love with vintage sewing and vintage style.
In this sewing video I use a vintage vogue reproduction sewing pattern Vogue V2960 that I first watched sewed by Angela Clayton 3 years ago when I first started sewing. I finally got the courage and the skill set to take on this sewing project and I am very proud of how it came out.
The petticoat I wear with the dress was sewed using another vintage reproduction sewing pattern Simplicity 8456
