Happy Easter Sunday to Everyone!
This bright and happy yellow painted furniture art is so fitting to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection on beautiful Sunday! Watch as I carefully and meticulously paint the “Daily Dose of Sunshine” Dresser. This dresser is a part of a furniture set that I created for a client of mine who wanted something bright like the sun. She asked for bright and I gave her BRIGHT! I love when clients ask for colorful furniture! I actually picked out this paint color from Home Depot and had it custom mixed. Did you know that if you buy Behr chalk paint from Home Depot you can pick any color to tint it? So much fun! I find that yellow chalk paint is often pale and not vibrant, and sometimes I’ve even had to mix normal acrylic yellow paint to get it to be a more true and bright yellow.
