How to Distress your Furniture with Sandpaper:
Step 1) Apply one coat of paint and let it dry completely
Step 2) Apply a second coat if needed and let it dry for 1-2 hours until completely dry to the touch
Step 3) Start with about 180 grit sandpaper and gently rub the areas on your piece that you want to remove paint from. Apply more pressure as needed
