Organic Vegetable Gardening – Compost Starter Tips with William Moss

By letter2self on November 27, 2023

One of the keys to successful organic vegetable gardening is using organic compost to fertilize your garden. In this video, Master Gardener William Moss shares the benefits of organic vegetable and fruit gardening, plus advice on how to create your own organic compost. (For more advice on how to compost, check out our free e-book: http://www.saferbrand.com/blog/complete-guide-on-how-to-compost/)

Moss suggests to begin with soil that is enriched with a soil amendment and your own compost, which can be easily done with a compost starter such as Ringer® Compost Plus® Organic Compost Starter (http://www.saferbrand.com/store/organic-lawn-care/3050).

Once the garden is in place, Moss discusses ways to combat garden pests, including planting bug-repelling herbs, hand picking bugs off plants, and using organic insect killers, such as Safer® Brand End ALL Insect Killer with Neem Oil(http://www.saferbrand.com/store/outdoor-insect/5101). Neem oil is extremely beneifical in many ways — even beyond gardening. Find out all the ways neem oil can benefit your garden and life: http://www.saferbrand.com/blog/benefits-uses-neem-oil-for-plants/

With these helpful tips you should have organic vegetables and organic fruits to enjoy throughout the year!
