City Council passes bill for mandatory citywide composting program

Big changes are on the way for how New Yorkers throw out their trash. The City Council passed a bill that makes composting a requirement. It’s part of the city’s effort to cut down on its carbon footprint. CBS2’s Kristie Keleshian explains when this will be rolled out and how.
