There are over 4000 community garden plots, on 47 acres, throughout Dane County. Tamarack Trails is one of many Madison neighborhoods with its own community garden. 49 spots are given to local residents, but if any left, non-residents can also apply. 13 plots even have raised beds!
Tamarack Trails is a very desirable neighborhood of condos on Madison West side. It consists of 320 homes spread on over 50 acres. Last year, only 16 units sold (4.5%). The median sales price was just below $350,000 for those 2-3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathroom townhouses, and they stayed on the market median of 8 days.
