Do you want to grow your own Super food Algae🤔?? Well, your in luck because this is our step by step grow guide on how we grow Spirulina in our mobile grow space alongside our microgreens!! The main goal is to monitor your pH and keep it between 10.5 and 11 and keep the temperature at around 80F!! Watch that water salinity too!! We aim to keep our salinity at around 2 using a BRIX meter.
Some of you may be asking, what exactly is Spirulina? And why would I consume that green stuff? Spirulina is a blue-green algae, used in ALL KINDS of products now a days. From various consumables such as powders for smoothies, chocolate and even added to some foods for additional nutrition. To Hair and skin care products and so much more… It is believed to be one of the oldest life forms on Earth, alongside Fungi and Lichen (moss). It was said to first be used by the Aztecs as an endurance-booster, spirulina is considered a superfood — an all-in-one source of nutrients including protein levels comparable to eggs.
