I have found that by putting a smaller amount of berries in the freezer bags and by putting them on cookie sheets they will freeze more uniform and are easier to stack in the freezer. I let the frig rest for a week by unplugging and letting the insulation dry out. I plugged the frig back in and let it get cold again over a 1-2 day period before putting food back in frig and freezer.
On rainy days and when the berries are wet then they need to be stretched out on cookie sheet and let freeze so they won’t stick together and then put in freezer zip bag.
