This is garlic time, to give the garlic the best chance of survival and not rotting in the ground I soak the cloves the night before, this gives them a sort of kick start
Plant the cloves about a fist apart
garlic plants are the worst when it comes to competition, so make sure that the area I weed free. If you’re quick enough a quick crop like reddish or small greens is a way to get more bang for your buck.
