Malva moschata, also known as musk mallow, may be my favorite plant in my entire garden. It’s easy to germinate, it’s not fussy about soil quality or conditions, it consumes little water, it comes back year after year, and it tastes great! What’s not to love?
In this video, I talk a little about my experience growing Malva moschata, and some basic facts about its growth habits. I’ve also included scientific references to M. moschata’s potential as a medicinal herb.
I hope this video will convince you to try growing musk mallow in your own garden. This plant definitely needs more recognition.
