Ohio University’s Compost Facility

Ohio University is home to one of the largest in-vessel composting operations at any college or university in the nation. The OHIO Compost Facility allows the university to divert its food waste from greenhouse gas-producing landfills and instead to create a nutrient rich soil amendment to enhance our campus landscape beds and intramural fields. Community Compost Temperature Check
