When Suthi and Sanjay Nagar moved to Austin from Pasadena, Suthi wanted more than lawn in their small front yard. New to Texas and new to gardening, she got involved with the Austin Permaculture Guild to guide her resourceful path. By stacking functions—beauty, edible, wildlife habitat, medicinal, waterwise—now their garden’s a lively spot and a friendly neighborhood connection.
