Our world is undergoing unprecedented shifts.
With population growth and climate change increasing pressures on our already lacking infrastructure systems, we must adopt new mentalities and implement intelligent technologies to facilitate our progression forward.
It is imperative that we repair, design, and rebuild our infrastructure systems with the long-term in mind to withstand an uncertain future.
In ‘Sustainable Infrastructure Systems: Planning and Development,’ participants will use system theory as a basis for analysis to learn about planning and developing sustainable infrastructure systems where they operate professionally. They will explore evaluation methods for determining and improving sustainability, study interactions and linkages between different sectors, and learn how to apply the tools acquired in their professional pursuits to accomplish real-world impact.
